This website was born out of concern over how websites are rated. We don't think that good looks or a special deal alone should qualify any website as 'great'. It takes a little more than that.

How we select websites

We think that the idea behind any website is as important as the way it looks, or its products. The websites reviewed here are chosen for the 'real world' activity that they deliver, not for their design. If they happen to have a visual "wow" factor it is purely coincidental.
